PUBLIC NOTICE FOR ASSESSMENT ROLL 2019
NOTICE is hereby given that the assessment roll of the Rural Municipality of Aberdeen
No. 373 for 2019 has been prepared and is now open to inspection at the office of the assessor from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the following days: Monday to Friday, April 26th to May 28th, 2019

A Bylaw pursuant to section 214 of The Municipalities Act has been passed and the assessment notices have been sent as required.

Any person who wishes to appeal against his or her assessment is required to file his or her notice of appeal with:

PUBLIC HEARING FOR BYLAW TO AMMEND ZONING BYLAW
Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the Rural Municipality of Aberdeen No. 373 intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw No. 2007-05, known as the Zoning Bylaw of the Rural Municipality of Aberdeen No. 373.
INTENT
Add new definitions for “Cannabis Production Facilities” and “Distilleries, Wineries and Breweries.”

    1. Add general regulations for “Cannabis Production Facilities.”
    2. Add “Distilleries, Wineries and Breweries” as a permitted use in the C1 – Commercial / Industrial District.
    3. Add “Cannabis Production Facilities” as a discretionary use in the C1 – Commercial / Industrial District.
    4. To rezone from A - Agriculture District to C1 – Commercial / Industrial District all of the NE ¼ Section 7 -37-02-W3M. 

REASON To provide clarity in the bylaw.

    1. To provide for the development of Cannabis Production Facilities and Distilleries, Wineries and Breweries.
    2. To facilitate the development of a Cannabis Production Facility on the NE ¼ Section 7-37-02-W3M.

PUBLIC INSPECTION
Any person may inspect the bylaws at the Rural Municipal Office, located in the Town of Aberdeen, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (closed between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM) from Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays.  Copies of the proposed bylaws are available at the Rural Municipal Office (located at 101 Industrial Drive in the Town of Aberdeen) at a cost of $1.00.
PUBLIC HEARING
Council will hold a public hearing on June 13th at 10:00 AM at the Rural Municipal Office to hear any person or group who wants to comment on the proposed bylaw.  Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the municipal office before the hearing.
